Research Interests

• Investigating novel technologies to improve material performance in aircraft and space structures;
• Aeronautics and Exploration Systems
• Focusing on the development and characterization of various high performing materials;
• Materials Science
• Formulating commercially available products and novel chemical synthesis; and
• Characterization, to include: analytical and mechanical tests, such as
  • Thermogravimetric analysis,
  • Differential scanning calorimetry,
  • Thermomechanical analsysis,
  • High-resolution scanning with an electron microscope,
  • Nuclear magnetic resonance,
  • Infrared spectroscopy, and
  • Optical microscopy.
