Four videos created by the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) have been named winners in the 41st Annual Telly Awards, which were announced in May 2020. The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens, and selected videos represent the absolute best in video and television. Judges for the awards include leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies, including Dow Jones, Complex Networks, A&E Networks, Hearst Media, ESPN Films, RYOT, Vice+ and Vimeo. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards annually receives more than 12,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and five continents.
“Our theme for this season, ‘Telly Award Winners Tell Great Stories’ is a true reflection of the diversity of stories the community is skillfully able to tell,” said Sabrina Dridje, Managing Director of the Telly Awards. “NIA is pushing the boundaries for video and television innovation and creativity at a time when the industry is both rapidly changing and heavily impacted by the current COVID-19 crisis.”
