Spratly Students Producing NASA eClips Featured in Daily Press


– As part of a project-based learning design challenge, students in Lisa Ann Wilson’s Digital Studio class at Spratly Gifted Center in Hampton, Va., are producing a NASA video to debunk common science misconceptions. Working with educators from the National Institute of Aerospace’s (NIA) Center for Integrative STEM Education, the seventh and eighth grade students will create one of the new student-produced videos that are part of the NASA eClips digital media suite of educational resources.

NASA eClips is an award-winning national education program, produced for NASA by NIA.   Designed to inspire and engage K-12 students, the short videos help students see real-world connections to STEM education.  Student-produced Spotlite videos confront common science misconceptions.
