TAO SYSTEMS NAMED OFFICIAL SUPPLIER OF AMERICA’S CUP CHALLENGER

Hampton, Va. – Tao Systems, developer of best-of-its-class flow measurement products for the aerospace, marine and fluid dynamics industries, has been named an Official Supplier of New York Yacht Club American Magic, Challenger for the 36th America’s Cup. The America’s Cup is the oldest event in international sports, and the highest prize in sailing.

Past projects include work for NASA, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, and previous America’s Cup campaigns. Tao Systems works in collaboration with the Peninsula Technology Incubator (PTI). PTI was incorporated in 2012 by the National Institute of Aerospace after receiving an initial grant from the City of Hampton Industrial Development. PTI provides mentorship and support services to innovative companies to aid them in the commercialization of products.
